Admissions at Rwanda Coding Academy

Rwanda Coding Academy (RCA) is a specialized school dedicated to training top-tier software engineers. The admission process is highly competitive, selecting only the most talented and passionate students from across Rwanda.

Every year, RCA admits students who excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects, particularly in Mathematics and Physics. Applicants must undergo a rigorous selection process, including national-level examinations and assessments to evaluate their problem-solving skills and aptitude for coding.

RCA prioritizes merit-based selection, ensuring that students with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for programming get the opportunity to develop their skills. While RCA was initially fully funded in its early years, a modest contribution of 85,000 RWF per term is now required from parents to help sustain and grow the program. This contribution supports access to high-quality facilities, meals, and academic resources.

Upon admission, students embark on a three-year intensive program designed to equip them with cutting-edge programming skills in areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and embedded systems. Graduates of RCA are well-prepared to contribute to Rwanda's growing technology sector and beyond.
